About us

As our name "Hands on Meteorites" and "Hands On Dinosaurs" implies we have created primary and secondary school incursions  which allow students to touch something real. They are designed to be like a museum that comes to you, except that students are allowed to touch many of the exhibits with their bare hands.

Whilst delivering every presentation, we are always excited by the expressions on the faces of the students.  From the amazement of seeing a real piece of space (perhaps a piece of the Moon or Mars) or hearing the truly astronomical figures involved in meteorite impacts, to seeing fossils of animals long since extinct (perhaps a Hadrosaur egg or the tooth from a Tyrannosaurus Rex). We hope our presentations will remain in the minds of the audience and inspire at least some of them into a career of science and investigation.

In the end, we hope their experiences do justice to the name.

Hopefully you will see our car in your suburb at some time.  Please feel free to ask for a brochure or a talk about dinosaurs or meteorites.
